Then, upon retirement, with utmost precision, your body automatically slows down.

What does this show? It shows that what we think sends subconscious commands to the body. Carrying this line of thought, this means then that age reversal starts at the mind level, your mind level.

Many people are scared of AD, after hearing stories of people with AD who no longer recognize family friends, lose interest in their appearance, or have difficulty even knowing personal information about themselves.

Well, let’s get the facts straight. AD, which is usually identified with dementia, is a particular disease characterized by the abnormal clumps and tangled bundles of fibers composed of misplaced proteins in the brain.

It was discovered in 1906 by the German neurologist Alois Alzheimer, who observed the symptoms in the brain of a woman who had died after several years of gradual mental deterioration.

It seems that the older a person gets, the bigger his or her chances of getting AD. The number of people with the disease doubles every five years beyond age 65.

The early symptoms of AD, which include forgetfulness and loss of concentration, are often not noted because they are frequently labeled as natural features of aging.

Symptoms of AD include memory loss, language deterioration, impaired ability to think, poor judgment, confusion, restlessness, and mood swings. Eventually, AD destroy cognition, personality, and the ability to function properly in daily life.

  • Eat food rich in vitamins B and E – B vitamins, particularly folic acid and vitamin B-12, help prevent AD. Eat whole grain, soy-based products or low-fat dairy products, lentils and leafy greens.In one three-year study, participants aged 65 and above who ate fish rich in vitamin E at least once each week showed 36% less decline in cognitive functioning during the entire period. Eat at least one fish every week.
  • Develop mental fitness – maintaining mental fitness may help delay the onset of AD. It’s believed that lifelong mental exercise and learning may promote the growth of additional synapses, the connections between neurons, and prevent mental deterioration.
  • Avoid mercury – according to research conducted by the University of Calgary Faculty of Medicine, small amounts of mercury may create the neurofibrillary tangles that occur in AD. Avoid silver or mercury-based tooth fillings.
