Studies have shown that women live longer than men.. Almost one old person in four is over 75, and of these almost two-third are women.

Because most women marry men older than themselves and are less likely to remarry, a much higher proportion of women end up living alone.

In Asia and other Africa, more than half the women over 65 are windows, while only 20% of men are widowers.

What Keeps Them Going?

The secrets of these amazing Asians are not really so secret.

But just because one or both of your parents died young due to ill health doesn’t mean you can’t counteract the genetic pool you inherited from them.

Although you cannot control your genes (they dictate, for instance. The color of your eyes and hair), you can make the most out of them. Genetics actually account for about a third of your health, but the way you care of your health also depends on the other two thirds.

If you want to live a really long life, you need a good set of genes, but you can complement your genes by maintaining a healthy and positive lifestyle.

We all know what a person looks like at different stages in life, so the new question is:

As we grow through the years, the amount and location of these materials change rapidly. The body shape gradually changes, reflecting the ongoing chemistry occurring within the body.

Other Normal Age-related Changes in The Body Shape Include:

  • Curvature of the spine due to osteoporosis , or bone thinning
  • A decrease in fat under the skin, causing wrinkling
  • A decrease of roughly one centimeter in height for every 10 years after the age of 40.
  • Decrease muscle mass throughout the body
  • Increase curvature in the hips and knees
  • Narrower shoulders and hips
  • Weight loss, which usually begins after 35 in men and after 65 in women.
